Program Timeline

Months 1 – 4: Foundations + Exploration

Each month we'll explore a new 3D fashion technique (3D Printed Textiles, Hand 3D Printing, Assembly, SubliPrinting, Project Ideation & Planning).

Weekly self-paced video drops will keep you progressing without overwhelm.

One live inspirational talk + 2x 75 min small group mentoring sessions per month (max 10 students).

Months 5 – 6: Social Impact Projects Development

You'll create a moodboard, prototype quickly, refine fit and produce 2 – 3 final projects based on your chosen Social Impact Creative Challenge.

​Imagine designing a jacket that repels mosquitoes for use in rural areas, or a jacket that purifies the air.

You'll document your process and prepare for live showcase.

Month 7: Presentations + Graduation

The last month is dedicated to finishing touches. 

​We'll focus on your presentation skills, both digital and personal.

​We'll help you create stunning portfolio-ready photos and videos.

​After successful presentation of your projects, you'll receive a certificate at our graduation ceremony.

​Best projects will be selected to be presented at Future Port Youth 2026.

Linette Manuel is a visionary Fashion-Tech designer who bridges the gap between technology and humanity. Featured in Wired and has spoken at prestigious conferences such as Forbes Next Big Thing and Future Port Youth, she inspires the next generation of innovators, especially young girls.

As the creative mind behind an award-winning, sound-generating haptic suit, Linette demonstrates how 3D printing and AI can fuse with cutting-edge design. She has taught 500+ students and is reaching over 8 countries. She earned the Dean’s Prize from Czech Technical University, and was a finalist for the 2024 Creative Heroes Award.

Beyond her own practice, Linette mentors women worldwide through the “ELEGOO With Her” International Program and serves as an honorary mentor for Femme Palette.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior 3D printing or fashion experience?
Not at all! We start with the basics and build up.
What if I already know how to 3D print?
Great, we'll help you dive deeper into applied 3D Printing techniques and advanced structures.
Is this enrichment program international (online)?
Yes. All learning and mentoring is online. There will be multiple timeslots to choose from for mentoring sessions.
How much time does this take per week? Can I do this with school?
Absolutely. We designed this for a student's schedule. Expect to spend about 3 hours per week, which you can spread out to fit around your homework and other commitments.
What software will we use?
We will be using freemium software or ones with free student licensing. You will learn how to use TinkerCAD, Shapr3D, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Milanote and different Slicers.
What if my printer breaks?
We choose 3D Printers with incredible customer support, we will help you troubleshoot. And if replacement is needed, we will help to arrange it.
How big is each cohort?
Max 10 students to keep mentoring intimate and effective.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes! Upon completion, you will receive a formal Certificate from Makeful, detailing the advanced skills you've mastered. It's a powerful addition to your resume and applications.
What if I miss any of my classes?
No worries, you'll have the opportunity to watch a recording or schedule an extra 1:1 mentoring session. The eligibility for extra mentoring session will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
